We now have a complete compliment of specialist-led services, including orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, anaesthesia & analgesia, cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, neurology & emergency and critical care.

We are looking for an oncology specialist to lead, shape and grow our team. 

We currently have specialists in multiple disciplines including soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, cardiology, dermatology and diagnostic imaging and will be additionally incorporating neurology, oncology, orthopaedic surgery & emergency and critical care.

We have invested significantly in equipment and our new centre has a brand new 1.5T Philips BlueSeal MRI scanner (this is a low-helium system so also fits our pledge to sustainability and the planet), Siemens 64-slice CT scanner, Samsung RS-85 ultrasound, C-arm fluoroscopy, digital radiography and Karl Storz new endoscopy and bronchoscopy systems to name just a few!


Your role and responsibilities:

London Vet Specialists (LVS) are currently recruiting for a board certified veterinarian in small animal oncology to join our multi-disciplinary team of specialists.

You will be committed to developing the hospital and providing high standards of care to both our patients and referring veterinary surgeons. You must be able to work as a team as well as independently supporting our clients, patients and clinical teams in our busy practice. This is a rewarding and challenging role that will require teamwork and dedication.

Key roles include:

  • You will be a leader, providing high quality patient care and contributing to the future strategic growth of the service
  • Provide clinical services as a medical oncology consultant
  • Work collaboratively with all other services and foster good relationships
  • Undertake supervision of our discipline specific and rotating interns
  • Demonstrate professional standards that will advance patient care
  • Be an ambassador for the team

You must fulfil the following requirements:

  • Membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (or eligible to become a member)
  • Successful completion of a recognised ECVIM (oncology) or ACVIM (oncology) residency programme
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong communication skills and professional approach
  • Provide evidence of your Right to Work in the UK
