The Service Lane Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service
department by performing essential customer-facing tasks, assisting with various service operations, and
maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role is designed to enhance the customer
experience, expedite service processes, and support the overall efficiency of the service department.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
● Provide exceptional customer experience every time, ensuring all customer interactions are
positive and professional.
● Greet all customers promptly upon arrival and coordinate with Service Advisors to set up service
appointments.
● Assist with cashier duties, including printing invoices and processing payments as required.
● Process and perform End of Day Cash Office duties, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
● Assist and oversee courtesy transportation services, ensuring customers are accommodated with
transportation needs.
● Assist and oversee pickup and delivery services for customer vehicles.
● Assist with incoming phone calls and appointment requests, providing prompt and accurate
information.
● Assist and oversee moving vehicles out of the Service Drive-through to maintain smooth traffic
flow.
● Assist and oversee customer car washes, ensuring vehicles are returned clean and presentable.
● Perform assorted data entry and report tracking tasks to support service operations and
maintain accurate records.
 

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Previous experience in an automotive service department or customer service role is preferred.
● Customer Service Oriented and committed to excellence at all levels of service.
● Great communication skills, along with a cheerful and friendly attitude.
● Friendly, trustworthy, Enthusiastic and reliable with a great work ethic.
● Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
● Attentive to detail.
● Teamwork-driven with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
● Basic computer skills, including familiarity with data entry and cashiering systems.
