Role Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intercompany GL Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across our accounting operations.

You will be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team committed to excellence and innovation.

Your role:

  • Take part in complex Intercompany accounting:

    • Intercompany statements and confirmations

    • Account reconciliation

    • Journal entries

    • Eliminate intercompany out of balances

    • Participate in intercompany cash application

  • Responsible for US GAAP accounting, Intercompany reporting and issue resolution and other ad hoc requests for information

  • Coordination of month-end closings

  • Prepare SOX controls

  • Work with the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and on-site teams to ensure accurate and controlled financial statements for the Intercompany accounts

  • Support internal and external audits

  • Ensure effective internal controls for the Intercompany accounting area

  • Participation in assigned projects

  • Reporting to site leadership to ensure a healthy service level

Your profile:

  • Ideally 2 years of experience in accounting

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics required (preferably in accounting)

  • Solid general accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

  • Excellent team player

  • Supportive attitude and good interpersonal skill set

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Knowledge of General Ledgers

  • Understanding of US GAAP
