Hyundai-NTU-A*STAR Corp Lab serves to drive research development and industry adoption of 3D Printing technologies through collaborative projects with HMGICS, and with schools and research centres within and beyond the University. We are looking for a Research Fellow to research on the areas of Robotics and AI using advanced modeling and simulation.
Key Responsibilities:
Development of a quality inspection system that are fabricated by robots and multimodal sensors.
Development of analytic models, simulation, and optimization for the quality inspection systems.
Development of a predictive model for quality inspection and monitoring systems.
Development of hardware (e.g., head mounting devices, smart gloves, and commercial wearable sensors).
Job Requirements:
PhD in Industrial, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
Demonstrated experience in the area of design, methods, modelling, and Optimization for implementing robots and sensors, particularly in the automotive applications.
Knowledge of engineering design, control, optimization, FEA simulation and experience in robots and sensors will be considered.
Proficiency in tools such as COMSOL, Abaqus, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, UNITY3D, Visual C++, LabVIEW, Python, and ROS is preferred.
Proven record of good research performance with publications in top-tier journals.
