JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Compiles amounts owed to the company and inputs figures to the accounting system. Obtains and processes online Insurance EFT/EOB’s. Reconciles amounts due. Tracks and updates daily deposit spreadsheets and monthly Avatar posting reconcilement. Responds to inquiries from clients and resolves issues. Refers more complex issues to higher-level staff or management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compiles amounts owed to the company and inputs figures to the accounting system. Processes and posts credit card and insurance payments.
  • Efficiently obtains and processes online Insurance EFT/EOB’s.
  • Reconciles amounts due by comparing invoices to POs or other records.
  • Posts payments into Avatar client database and Month End Avatar Posting Reconcilement.  
  • Tracks/Updates daily deposit spreadsheets including non-client transaction logs.
  • Responds to inquiries from customers or clients and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies referring issues that are more complex in nature.
