Who you are:

As an Account Executive with Frost Insurance Agency your opinion matters. You will be responsible for assisting Producers in the maintenance of existing accounts. You will provide technical expertise and identify the issues regarding the account, its associated risks, devising service timelines, and cross-selling other lines of business to enhance retention and improve revenue. More than that, this role is about building relationships and providing top-quality service and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.

What you’ll do: 

  • Support the Producer in account renewal sales, and in the selling of additional lines that enhance coverage and meet the needs of the client
  • Refer clients to other Agency departments for cross-selling additional lines of business
  • Prepare and explain cost basis and rating information, claims analysis and other analyses as requested by the client
  • Ensure that positive rapport is built and maintained with all clients
  • Oversee client management and retention, acting as the primary day-to day contact in the field with existing clients
  • Negotiate and prepare service plans for each client
  • Prepare and submit company applications to select underwriters and obtain desired commitments
  • Maintain a competent working knowledge of the current marketplace and capabilities of providing alternatives for transfer of risk
  • Maintain and monitor expiration listing to assure effective and timely handling of renewals
  • Assure that premiums are collected within Agency guidelines
  • Keep current on technical aspects of the insurance business through circulars, bulletins, trade publications, seminars and schools offered
  • Assist other agency departments in securing and/or providing information necessary to issue appropriate policies in their department for which we have a mutual client
  • Meet with clients to discuss and handle their insurance needs
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

  • Texas General Lines Agent License: Property and Casualty (P &C) or Life, Accident, Health, and HMO, as related to the appropriate line of business, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • 5+ years insurance experience in a sales or client service role, or equivalent carrier or business experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Insurance designations such as Accredited Customer Service Representative (ASCR), Commercial Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Risk Managers International (CRM), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) for Commercial Lines
  • Insurance designations such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Chartered Life Underwriter  (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant  (ChFC) for Employee Benefits
