Job Description:

Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsible for strategic program and project objectives and managing projects from inception to implementation. Manages all aspects of the project over its entire life including: the initiation, plan development, execution, controls, and implementation. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a liaison between the business and development resources. Manage projects from conception through implementation. Partners with project sponsor(s) and stakeholders to define and document project objectives, scopes, goals, deliverables, required resources, work structures, development budgets, and timelines. Establishes team roles and responsibilities and communicates expectations to team members. Develops, manages, and maintains overall project plans and schedules
  • Assembles project teams. Aligns roles and responsibilities for all project resources. Ensures project progress is tracked, and team members are providing progress updates. Resolves issues throughout the project life cycle.
  • Assist with business requirements analyses. Manages project scopes, issues, and risks. Ensures change controls are executed appropriately. Estimate work efforts and manage resources accordingly.
  • Document agendas, meeting minutes, action items, project plans, and issue logs. Communicate statuses to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Arts, Information Technology, Project Management, Finance or Social Science
  • 6 + years of experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Computer Science, or related experience
  • In Lieu of Education 10 + years of experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Computer Science, People Leadership, or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
