The successful applicant in this role may perform duties such as: empirical research with young people in schools across metropolitan, regional and rural Victoria. In addition may also carry out team research in ways that are congruent with the broad project aims and whole of team approach that has been developed by Professor Hickey-Moody.

Across the life of the project, the work can include: data organisation, administrative support, empirical fieldwork and site maintenance in Victoria, maintenance of data sets and assistance of project management.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting quality research in an area aligned with the project.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in the youth sector and ability to communicate with young people across culturally diverse communities (e.g. LGBTQI+ communities).
