Position Summary
We are looking for a new Digital Specialist to join our Innovative Marketing Lab team!
The primary purpose of the Digital Specialist role is to propose, coordinate and support the implementation of digital activations, Social Buzz initiatives, Live Commerce activities and Social Media engagement projects across Samsung’s digital ecosystem.
The role acts as an operational link between global campaign directions, local market needs, agencies and internal stakeholders, helping turn digital trends, platform formats and consumer engagement opportunities into concrete local executions. By supporting planning, coordination, execution, performance tracking and reporting, the Digital Specialist contributes to stronger brand visibility, improved consumer engagement and more effective use of digital and social media channels across Samsung’s marketing activities.
Role and Responsibilities
This role is focused on planning, executing, coordinating and optimization of digital trends, social media activations and consumer engagement initiatives across Samsung’s digital ecosystem, including the following responsibilities:
- Follow global and local digital, social media, content, video and consumer engagement trends, and identify practical opportunities that can be applied to local campaigns and activations.
- Support the planning and execution of local and global digital activations across social media platforms, digital media and other relevant consumer touchpoints.
- Coordinate day to day implementation of Social Buzz initiatives, including content preparation, agency coordination, publishing alignment, media support and performance follow-up.
- Coordinate live commerce activities, including briefing agencies and partners, preparing content and product inputs, aligning timelines, supporting execution and collecting performance results.
- Work closely with social media, creative, media, influencer, production and retail partners to prepare assets, formats, messages and campaign materials needed for digital activations.
- Localize and adapt global digital toolkits, campaign materials, social activation guidelines and content formats for local market use.
- Prepare regular reports and summaries of digital activation results, including learnings, benchmarks and recommendations for improvement.
- Support always-on digital engagement activities by coordinating content inputs, platform requirements, agency deliverables and internal approvals.
- Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams, agencies, regional stakeholders and external partners during the preparation and execution of digital initiatives.
- Other tasks upon manager's request.
Skills and Qualifications
- University degree
- At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing & social media management
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, digital advertising and content production
- In-depth knowledge of common social media monitoring and management tools
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail; storytelling expertise and the skills to translate complex topics and concepts into engaging messages with the ability to shape and deliver key messages to various audiences, tailored to their individual needs
- Excellent communication skills as well as fluent both local native language and English (both spoken and written), excellent communication skills in other regional languages will be considered as advantage
- Ability to handle multiple projects passionately, take initiative independently and working in a team
- Creativity with a focus on digital innovation and technology
- Highly organized, with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Ability to work in dynamic environment
- Logical and analytical, strong in noticing details on social media channels
- Willing to stay up to date with developments in your subject area and in developments in the digital world
