What you’ll do in the role

  • Serve as a senior sales executive who is an integral member of the MSIM Korea team to grow the client business and contribute to the culture
  • Drive distribution of MSIM investment strategies to institutional and intermediary clients in Korea focusing on asset owners, pension funds, insurance companies and securities firms
  • Develop and execute a Korea-specific client coverage strategy aligned with regional and global MSIM sales priorities
  • Build and manage senior-level client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for public market investment solutions while also supporting private market opportunities
  • Partner closely with investment teams, portfolio specialists and regional sales teams to deliver tailored investment solutions to clients
  • Lead client engagements including pitches, portfolio reviews and due diligence meetings to secure new mandates and serve existing assets
  • Manage the development of your direct report(s) to enable them to contribute to the team, grow professionally and lead initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategy

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Extensive experience in institutional sales, client coverage or distribution within asset management or global financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of the Korean institutional investor landscape, including asset owners, pension funds, insurers and local distribution channels
  • Proven ability to develop strategic client relationships, understand client needs and execute client plans in order to drive asset and revenue growth
  • Deep knowledge across fixed income, equities and multi-asset investment strategies
  • Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills with the capacity to engage senior stakeholders
  • Highly collaborative professional who thrives in a team-oriented culture
  • Fluency in Korean and English with the ability to operate effectively in a global organization
  • Unwavering integrity
