The Technical Partner Manager is responsible for the technical engineering of new partner integrations for our Golf and eCommerce products. Each partner has an individual Go-To-Market program that aligns with the prospects’ goals and incentivizes them to bring retailers, eCommerce owners, and restaurateurs to the Lightspeed platform. Your work will have a direct impact on our growth and contribute to our largest strategic partnerships.

What you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Lead in depth technical calls about integrations to help close new enterprise, strategic partnerships that will directly impact revenue
  • Act as a product and integrations expert to guide partners in building the most efficient integrations to Lightspeed products
  • Define and maintain UX standards and validate partner integrations before deployment
  • Create and maintain guides and best practices for each integration type, to provide partners the necessary tools and autonomy to build integrations and address customers needs
  • Act as an escalation point when partner technical issues can’t be resolved by our API Support Team or require advanced technical thinking
  • Support the Partner Managers with any product or technical questions relating to integrations
  • Manage the workflow and partner pipeline to deliver the assigned territories integrations in a timely manner
  • Drive close collaborations with Product, Development, Sales and the entire partnerships team

What you need to bring to the team:

  • Technical / Partnerships / Sales Engineering experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management with different levels
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs.
  • HTML/CSS, Javascript knowledge
  • Ability to understand new technologies and systems quickly
  • Proven track record in software experience - related to hospitality/retail or e-com services
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Tactical and strategic abilities; as you form an important stakeholder for the partnership strategy
  • Great time management

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Help partner’s post built with API related issues 
  • Create documentation to help partners understand our APIs and workflows
  • Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organizational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.
