The Payments Product Lead is a senior role within Payments Services responsible for driving strategy, roadmap, and delivery for a core Payments capability as part of Citi’s global payments modernization efforts. The role partners with cross‑functional teams across Product, Technology, Operations, and Controls to deliver scalable, resilient, and client‑centric payments capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
Define and execute the capability strategy and roadmap in alignment with Payments Services priorities
Lead backlog creation, requirements, and execution for payment features
Partner closely with Technology, and Operations to ensure high‑quality delivery
Manage cross‑functional stakeholders, including Risk, Compliance, Technology, and other Product teams
Ensure compliance with Citi standards including data governance, and control frameworks
Monitor KPIs, Operations impact, and performance against modernization and resiliency goals
Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree, Masters preferred
6+ years in Payments, Product Management, or similar areas
Strong understanding of wholesale payments, ISO 20022, instant payments, and platforms
Experience operating within an enterprise product & capability model
Proven leadership in driving complex, multi‑stakeholder delivery programs
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
