Position Summary:

The MP&L Senior Manager, EMEA, is a pivotal role within Methode’s Procurement Leadership team. The role reports into the VP, Materials Planning & Logistics, and will be responsible to lead the EMEA site teams to meet functional MP&L and business requirements across all three vertical businesses within Methode. This role, based in our Lontzen facility in Belgium, involves a combination of responsibilities including collaborating with key internal stakeholders and leadership to understand requirements and oversee execution in a multi-site operation covering Belgium, Egypt, Finland, Malta and the U.K. Additionally, the EMEA Director will be influential in the Global Transformation of Methode’s Procurement and MP&L function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key role in Methode’s global MP&L leadership team and Functional Transformation Journey
  • Provide Regional leadership for all Supply Chain teams in planning and execution performance: MRP Scheduling, Supplier Delivery, Prodcuction Planning, Warehousing & Customer Service
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and industry standards in supply chain management processes
  • Regional lead in the deployment of Methode’s Integrated Supply Chain Operating System (OS)
  • Regional lead in the deployment of Methode’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Partner with HR, IT, Sales, Program, Procurement, Operations and Finance teams to establish and execute operational performance plans
  • Partner with Operations to oversee the daily operations at the Lontzen logistics center in Belgium, coordinate procurement and supply chain functions, and drive process improvements across departments in support of the Lontzen site GM
  • Manage and resolve internal, supplier and customer escalations effectively
  • Continuously monitor delivery performance and initiate corrective measures in case of shortages or disruptions
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership & accountability by actively identifying areas for process innovation, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to EMEA team members to enhance performance, engagement & development
  • MP&L Management Reporting, Budget Preparation and Performance Management

Qualifications

Required

  • Fluent English and French
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Engineering or Operations
  • >10 years of experience within the Automotive, Truck or Electronics industries
  • >5 years of experience in a discipline of Supply Chain Management
  • Experience of driving Continuous Process Improvements
  • Thorough understanding of S&OP/S&OE
  • Solid understanding of supply chain operations, especially inventory control, planning, forecasting and scheduling

Preferred

  • German or Arabic Language would be an advantage
  • MBA or MSc in Supply-Chain or similar field
  • IAPICS Certified or equivalent (CPIM, CSCP, CSCS, CPSM, CSCMP)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or above
  • Advance knowledge of, and experience in implementing, lean management systems

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
