Role responsibilities:

To provide GPO support to TPF C&C team on Trading Partner be-spoke template and lead CI’s & Projects to improve the processes and functionality of the template for ease of operations.    

Process related responsibilities:

  • The role holder will support in reviewing the processes followed by TPF Hubs and GSK ops teams in the areas of Intercompany, Inventory, ICT month end activities, Financial reporting including Branch Accounting

  • The role holder will support to identify the gaps in consultation with BAU team. This could be process performance or design issues

  • The role holder will participate in proposal & then finalise RACI / processes to fill in or mitigate the gaps in consultation with BAU team

  • The role holder will support in training the BAU team around the RACI / processes finalised

  • The role holder will also provide Early Life Support (ELS) once the RACI / processes are rolled out   

  • The role holder will participate in relevant governance forums which impact process design

System related responsibilities

  • This role will be working on behalf operational teams to ensure any gaps in SAP solutions are resolved with the support of Tech by raising necessary SNOW requests or VPP. Lead these deployments which are fit for purpose and there is no impact on business continuity

  • This role will be the SME and will be a link between the SAP Functional consultants, GPOs, and the Users

  • Work in partnership with other SME’s and the rest of the business and core teams to ensure all project activities & milestones are delivered

  • Clear business requirements to inform SAP design:  lead & drive process discussions with users to establish requirements and playback proposals to them and agree solutions.

  • Data validation & cleansing where necessary

  • Test Management - Ensure all scenarios are tested appropriately before go-live such that users are comfortable:Co-ordination of testing with User group:

  • Ensure any issues/blockers are raised via the programme test governance meetings

  • Understand and relay any issues arising to the functional consultants or GPOs as appropriate.

  • Lead and support users in the performance and documentation in Teams of testing results and drive activities to be completed in line with project timetable

  • Work with FCs to ensure any defects are addressed either through functional improvements or changes to ways of working.

  • Ensure any business impact from any changes to SAP & documents and actions are in place to manage – including update to LSOP’s.

  • Lead and facilitate any operating model changes taking place

  • Ensure appropriate comms, change management & training

  • Apart from this, this role will also be responsible for updating BPSD’s and GSOP’s including that of ICT.

Preferred Experience: 10 to 13 Years

  • Experience in developing and executing process design, improvement and standardisation across multiple systems and organisational boundaries

  • Experience of Reporting and Accounting

  • Experience in working in large, complex organisation

  • Experience in assessing creating robust business cases

  • A proven track record in driving change and implementing the change

  • Experience of achieving results through others
