The Talent Acquisition Specialist role:
- You will be running the full recruitment cycle, this will include all the normal things like taking job briefs, advertising, screening, coordination of interviews as well as booking medicals.
- Recruiting both blue-collar and white-collar roles.
- Engaging regularly with your key stakeholder, this means getting on the phone and talking to them.
- Providing a high level of customer service to your stakeholders. Keeping them happy throughout the recruitment process is the key to success in this role.
- Using alternate recruitment platforms to find good people for our business. Seek Talent search, LinkedIn, and anything else you can think of. We're pretty open to new initiatives.
What you need to be successful:
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, capable of dealing with all levels of the organisation.
- Recruitment industry experience is preferred - either inhouse, high volume or an agency recruiter who's over the sales side and enjoys the actual recruitment.
- Amazing communications skills - both written and verbal. In other words, you can get along well with people and can write a coherent email that your audience will understand
- Enjoy a laugh at work but still get the job done.
- Able to juggle multiple priorities. Each hiring manager believes their roles are the most critical, you know how to manage them to let them know that they really are number 1 for you.
- You know how to build strong rapport with your stakeholders. some of your stakeholders are remote, so building rapport over tech is important.
- Display exemplary customer service and relationship building skills to both internal and external stakeholders and strong influencing, consulting and advisory skills.
- Have a strong interest in using online platforms such as SEEK Premium Talent Search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and social media for strategic sourcing and talent pooling initiatives.
