Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: • Design, manage, and optimize ETL processes for seamless integration of asset data into SAP. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across asset management systems through robust validation and testing. • Lead data migration, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from legacy systems into SAP. • Ensure asset management configurations align with business design requirements. • Perform comprehensive data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of asset data in SAP. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset management configurations and ETL processes. • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to drive timely defect resolution. • Provide ongoing support and training on SAP Asset Management best practices. • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for asset management processes, configurations, and ETL workflows. - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: • Strong experience in SAP Asset Management (PM/AM), master data management, and ETL tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, Informatica). • Expertise in SAP configuration, testing, and data validation related to asset management. • Deep knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and data integration principles. • Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and align business and technical stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in defect management. • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively. - Familiarity with database management and data integration techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
