Job Description Summary

The Facilities Technician is responsible for all maintenance as directed by Post Facility Manager in compliance with client and JLL requirements and in adherence to established Health and Safety standards. The Facilities Technician will conduct maintenance (electrical and mechanical) as part of the planned preventative maintenance regime required for service delivery and site operations.

The Facilities Technician is responsible for all maintenance as directed by the Facility Manager and his team in compliance with the client and JLL requirements and in adherence to established Health and Safety standards. The Facilities Technician will conduct maintenance (electrical and mechanical) as part of the planned preventative maintenance regime required for service delivery and site operations.

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for:

Performing various maintenance tasks including minor building repair works, electrical and mechanical work per established Work Health and Safety standards.
Provide necessary work completion documentation as required and ensure work is delivered and maintained within established performance indicators and agreed service levels.

Conduct site rounds to determine and document any fault findings. Investigate minor building issues and conduct or coordinate repairs of equipment.

Respond with sense of urgency to any requests that may cause disruption to normal Post operations.

Supervise maintenance work executed by Vendors to ensure safe and quality works are delivered.

Install and repair small facilities matters: change lamps, small plumbing and drainage repairs, extend socket outlet, repair minor electrical faults etc.

Organise repair job quotation and negotiate scope, cost and time with vendor.

Implement required equipment moves, adds and changes.

Keep detailed records on all maintenance and repairs.


Core Competencies 

The Facilities Technician will demonstrate the following competencies:

Proactive approach with good understanding of health and safety standards. Have strong communication skills with ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple levels. Customer service and collaborative team player with willingness to assist other staff members as needed.
Ability to use mechanical tools in a safe and compliant manner

Ability to complete required documentation in English
Having a background in maintenance of commercial building and/or residential complex with experience testing equipment

Class 3/3A Driving License is compulsory.
