Job Description:
Manages more complex specialty assets within The Private Bank Group with a full and in-depth understanding of all fiduciary aspects associated within a given segment of specialty assets, i.e., real estate, farm & ranch, timberland, oil & gas, private businesses. Partners closely with Private Bank relationship/client managers in proactive client service and sales activities to generate new business. Also links up closely with a Private Bank market to determine appropriate resources needed within Specialty Asset Management to obtain new business. Provides creative solutions to complex customer/asset needs. May have indirect coaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and experienced Regulatory Compliance and Research Specialist to ensure we operate responsibly. Under general/limited supervision, some of the things you will do in this role to help create value:

  • Research TRRC, OCC, and Oklahoma Tax Commission databases and obtain well data, including but not limited to drilling and completion information, production data, revenue data, unit designations, well permits, well locations and well surveys, and other data that may assist asset managers.
  • Utilize Drilling info, Enervus, and other industry software obtain activity reports, producing wells, permitted wells, and other pertinent date to assit Asset Managers.
  • Research new federal, state, and local regulations or rulings affecting the company client accounts.
  • Maintain direct contact and relationships with regulatory agencies to gain clarification or insight into processes, and/or policy interpretations.
  • Advise asset managers of relevant federal, state, and local regulatory compliance requirements and risks.
  • Prepare and file reports, on time and error free.
  • Develop and Maintain relationships with operators.

Other duties may include:

  • Working with internal departments to set up new accounts, new assets and properties, permitted wells, new wells and pertinent well data
  • Detailed analysis of legal descriptions, gross and net acreage, unit designations, lease data, production data, and researching internal and external records
  • Identifying and setting up well information
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.


Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated regulatory compliance expertise in upstream oil & gas operations.
  • Experience with Horizontal well permitting, and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal required. Ability to build and navigate relationships with government agencies and internal stakeholders, to include the ability to create reports and presentations and appropriately influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, Visio.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Attention to detail is essential in this role.

    • Gather, analyze, and appropriately utilize data in planning and decision-making.

    • +5 years of oil and gas experience
    • Experience with TRRC /OCC/OTC and other websites. Enverus DrillingInfo/PRISM and other industry software. used for title research.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and handle several ongoing projects at one time.
    • Experience with TRRC Rule 86, Rule 37 and rule 38

Desired Qualifications:
