SUMMARY

The Support Service Clerk will assist in the day-to-day operation of all areas of Distribution Center (DC) Support Service including Wave Planning, Receiving, Facility Planning, Problem Resolution, Inventory Control, and Quality Assurance. Responsibilities include successfully interfacing daily orders from the SAP Mainframe system to the EXE Warehouse Management system, researching receiving issues/problems and coordinating resolutions and working closely with appropriate Supervisors/Managers and the Corporate Merchandising Department. In addition, accurately entering data into the receiving database and EXE system as well as creating all necessary documents, reviewing inbound purchase orders to determine SKU’s assigning locations per EXE requirements as well as maintaining/moving product based upon volume.

JOB DUTIES

  • Reviews inbound purchase orders to determine SKU’s that require selection locations. Properly assigns selection locations to SKUs in the EXE Warehouse Management System. Maintain EXE replenishment information by confirming availability of locations.
  • Enters data into the receiving database creating trailer manifests and Receiving packets. Enters data from vendor packing lists into the EXE Warehouse Management System. Updates database to reflect current green bar status. Reconciles the Detail Checkers' counts against the vendor packing lists. Interacts with the Various Supervisors to resolve any discrepancies. Completes receiving process by making product available for selection. Maintains filing and produces miscellaneous reports as required.
  • Releases the stores that are to be selected based on the Store Ordering and Delivery Schedule. Ensures that all of the printers in the Wave Planning office are supplied with paper or labels and that they are all in proper alignment and functioning correctly. Ensures that all labels and documents are produced correctly for each functional area. Segregates all work by functional area and notifies the area Supervisor of the availability of work.
  • Research receiving issues/problems and coordinate resolution with appropriate Supervisor/Manager to resolve internally. Coordinate resolution of receiving issues/problems that cannot be resolved internally with Corporate Merchandising Department. Work closely with appropriate Supervisors/Managers and Corporate Merchandising Department to resolve vendor returns, repack issues, and problems. Conduct problem area audits to ensure timely resolution Prepare miscellaneous reports, logs and documents on a daily basis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Stand or walk on concrete for 8-12 hours per day
  • Climb flights of metal stairs and/or metal ladders
  • Operate a computer or other office machinery such as a printer
  • Sit, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull and twist
  • Lift and move 65 lbs. unassisted and 75 lbs. assisted 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Minimum: 2+ years related experience and/or training in warehouse systems computer literate and/or managing multiple projects.

Range of Pay for Position (Final pay rate is based on experience and qualifications): $18.75-$24.50
