Job Title: Mechanical Design Intern
Job Description:
The potential candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic R&D Center, collaborating with expert teams to create great products.
Enthusiasm and passion for design and development is the key, this includes creating and testing new solutions and guides to meet design goals for computer mice products.
This is a good opportunity to learn the mechanical design knowledge of consumer electronic products if you are willing to learn and take challenges.
Major Duties:
Learn the background - pain points, issues of current mice clicking system;
Organize the ideation workshop with senior engineers for mice clicking system design;
Under the coach of the senior mechanical engineer to optimize the design concept as per the input of the ideation workshop;
Finish the 3D modeling, make prototyping and organize UX test to validate design concept;
Qualification & Skills:
Undergraduate or graduate student, major in Mechanical engineering, Physics or similar;
Good knowledge in mechanical analysis, or theoretical mechanics;
Proficient in using 3D modeling software like Creo;
Enthusiasm in R&D of consumer electronics products;
Good communication skills;
Good summary, documentation, presentation skills;
Good skill in FEA is a plus.
Background:
This is a 2 - 6 month contract position, duration to be reviewed during the interview.
