General Information:

As a Sales Operations Intern, you will assist the Forecasting Manager for the US Front-End Sales Team. You will use professional communication, critical thinking, and time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner. You will work with other members of the Front-End Sales Team, including the Sales and Finance teams to expand your knowledge, skills, and abilities related to sales forecasting, sales reporting, opportunity management, documentation, data analysis and time management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Learn about and review the current processes in place for sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Evaluate and propose potential process improvements for sales forecasting to enhance efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Familiarize yourself with sales tools and applications including Salesforce.com (SFDC), Power BI, Atlas, Abacus.
  • With the Forecasting Manager’s direction and supervision, gather and consolidate the weekly sales forecast for review with the LSM and FES Controller.
  • Participate in regular meetings to review and update the forecast as needed.

Your Background:

  • Rising junior or senior obtaining their bachelor’s degree in related field or graduate student with one year remaining before graduating.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
