Job Description Summary

The Offices Services Manager will be responsible to manage the Mail Center and team within a Global Occupier  Service (GOS) account. With a strong attention to detail, this role will facilitate a variety of Shipping and Receiving  tasks to ensure high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for processing the mail and  parcels continuously throughout the day and delivery and pick-up of mail for multiple client locations in the area. 

Job Description

● Direct oversight of Mail Center team, including but not limited to; scheduling, delegating mail center duties, and performance evaluations.

● Maintain records of volumes for in-bound and out-bound packages, mail, messenger receipt and delivery. ∙ Liaison for courier of record (UPS/USPS/FEDEx)

● Manage 3 rd party vendor for postage, package tracking, and copy equipment in the mail/copy center. ∙ Responsible for arranging preventive maintenance and repairs for all owned/leased mail and copy equipment, and package tracking equipment. ● Perform various Mail Center activities (screening, sorting, metering, delivery, pickup, etc.) ∙

● Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude ∙ Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment ∙ Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages

● Maintain the Mailroom team performance in accordance with the established client-specific Service Level Agreement for work orders

● Shipping & Receiving and Loading Dock operations

● Operate mailing, copy or scanning equipment

● Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines

● Maintain all logs and reporting documentation

● Adhere to all safety procedures

● Participate in cross-training and perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

● Minimum of 3 years customer service related experience

● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Shipping Operations, with at least 1 year of managerial experience.

Proficient in keyboarding and windows environment PC skills

● Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

● Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment

● Ability to meet employer's attendance policy Physical Conditions ● Lift heavy boxes, files or paper when needed

● Regularly required to travel from floor to floor and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.

● Regularly required to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

● Regularly use hands to operate office machinery

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $38.42 - $45.20
