We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-stack Engineer who can lead our development team while contributing hands-on to the design, development, and deployment of robust web applications. This role involves working across the full stack—both front-end and back-end—while taking on leadership responsibilities to guide and mentor the development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web technologies, architectures, and agile development practices.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer you will be in charge of:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications, utilizing modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Architect, build, and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code for both client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and backend infrastructure.
- Optimize performance and scalability of both front-end and back-end systems.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead a team of fullstack engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching.
- Manage project workflows, delegate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code quality standards and ensure best practices are followed.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with product managers, designers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and priorities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, acting as a leader within the Scrum team.
- Provide clear, concise updates on project status and technical challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions and decision-making to ensure alignment on system design, architecture, and technology choices.

Architecture & Process Improvement:
- Drive architectural decisions that affect the full technology stack, ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) efforts.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, data protection, and best practices in software development.

Innovation & Learning:
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in fullstack development.
- Introduce new technologies, tools, or frameworks to improve development efficiency and product quality.
- Encourage team members to continuously learn and grow their technical skills.

To be successful at this role, we expect you to have the following experience and skills:
- You must reside in Chile or Colombia
- Advanced English skills
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with demonstrated ability to work across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Extensive experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, .NET, Python, Java, or similar.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

Leadership & Collaboration:
- Previous experience in leading or mentoring a development team, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to guide teams in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a passion for addressing technical challenges with creative solutions.
