Job Summary
Job Description
Regional Sales Manager provides development and strategic leadership that supports Medline's corporate strategy to the division's sales team. Additionally, this role is responsible for meeting or exceeding established annual sales goals for their respective division.
Responsibilities:
Direct the development of sales plans, strategies, objectives, policies and procedures
Recruit, hire, and develop each individual representative in the organization to ensure we have the best sales team within our peer group and insure the success of each sales rep within their division. Includes managing rep performance and accountability
Responsible for creating and developing strong relationships with key decision makers in various levels of these designated accounts.
Lead collaborative business reviews with regional groups and large customers
Responsible for the continual improvement of Medline profitability and rep commissions through the following activities; SPA administration, strategic price increases, improving the Medline mix of business within accounts
Effectively manage all administrative tasks in a timely manner including all required reporting, Medline corporate communication, and compliance policies, and etc.
Required Experience:
Bachelors Degree
At least 1 year of experience or experience as field trainer within sales organization preferred
At least 3 years of outside business-to-business sales experience autonomy and accountability
Demonstrated a pattern of success within current sales role
This is a transitional role, role meant to move into the Divisional Manager position, where the incumbent moves from partial individual contributor to 100% management/strategy
