Overview
The Cash & Forex (CFX) Specialist focuses on new deposit customer acquisition, managing existing deposit relationships / portfolio whilst driving the cross-selling of cash management solutions to grow share of operating accounts and FX penetration to grow our Global Markets fee income. The successful candidate will report to the Manager of Cash & Forex (CFX) in the Business & Corporate Banking Division.
Job Responsibilities
Driving key KRAs on growing deposits & FX and to ensure successful execution with proven results.
Work closely with Relationship Managers /Area Managers/ relevant stakeholders in growing new & existing customers' deposits and non-borrowing portfolio.
Bring in new customers to the branch via community business visitations, roadshows, or other branched based sales activities.
Propose/determine & identify business opportunities and risk associated with cost-benefit analysis to the manager for decision making.
To work with/assist Relationship Managers/ Area Managers/Business Centers’/ Branch Manager/ CBM in deal closure pertaining to cash management solution · To champion and to promote Cash Management and HL ConnectFirst.
Manage and develop existing customer relationships, and increase share of wallet for their designated business center.
Identify cross selling opportunities for both new and existing customers, leveraging on the Bank’s extensive suite of transaction banking solutions such as cash management, corporate internet banking platform (Hong Leong ConnectFirst) and Global Markets.
Job Requirements
Malaysian citizen.
Relevant experience in deposit products, cash management, or Global Markets with minimum 2 years in banking or financial institution related working experience.
Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Banking/Economics or equivalent.
