Job Summary
• This role is responsible for driving design, development, and debugging of embedded software/firmware for hardware, ensuring efficient and reliable operation. The role collaborates with hardware engineers to integrate software and firmware with hardware components, ensuring seamless communication and functionality. The role works closely with software developers, hardware engineers, quality assurance, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

B.Tech/M.Tech with upto 5+ years of experience

- Strong programming skills in C/C++/Java/kotlin

- Proficient in Android development tools like NDK, Android studio

- Proficient in Android fundamentals Activity lifecycle, concurrency, multi-threading, Architecture patterns like MVVM/MVP, inter-app communication

- Experience in Android App development, AndroidX/Jetpack/Firebase

- Ability to drive requirements to Android UI design graphical elements

 - Basic UI/UX design skills, and the ability to implement user interfaces following Material Design principles

- Familiarity with common SCM tools like git, android build environments

- Knowledge of Android testing, including writing test suites to catch bugs before production

- Knowledge of app deployment through stores, security techniques & tools

- Exposure to OTA update flow on Android

- Exposure to technologies like AI, ML, AR/VR, RestAPIs a plus

- Responsible team player with good communication skills, attention to details & open to continuous learning
