Partner Activation and Acceleration Team (PAAT) | P&A Strategy & Operations

Mexico City, MX

The Partner Activation and Acceleration Specialist is an individual contributor role within the Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, part of Thomson Reuters' Partnerships & Alliances organization. This role is both partner-facing and internally focused: you will serve as a valued point of contact for partners through their onboarding and activation journey while driving the internal cross-functional coordination, process rigor, and operational discipline that makes partner success possible. You will be pivotal in reducing onboarding and activation time and improving time-to-revenue for both partners and TR across global segments, including Legal Professionals, Tax, Audit and Accounting Professionals, Corporates, and Government. You will execute and continuously improve the mechanisms and frameworks that accelerate partner sales, directly supporting TR's goal of a 3x increase in P&A sales contribution by 2028.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Pricing, Legal, and Partner Specialists to embed partners at the core of TR's go-to-market, sales, and innovation processes. You will be expected to manage up to 15 partners concurrently, will ensure scalable, measurable, and partner-centric activation, and you will play a key role in the evolution of the Partner Activation and Acceleration Team (PAAT) operating model. This role requires high ownership, solutions orientation, comfort with ambiguity, and a relentless customer and partner obsession. You will operate in an environment where processes are still being built; the ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information and bring a proposed path forward with every problem is essential.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Partner Activation and Acceleration Specialist, P&A Strategy & Operations, you will:

  • Own partner onboarding, activation, and acceleration across assigned regions and segments, reducing time-to-activation and improving partner time-to-revenue.

  • Identify bottlenecks in the onboarding and activation journey, monitor partner progress, document findings, and create training materials and process improvements that increase partner productivity and win rates.

  • Collaborate with Partner Specialists, Sales, Commercial Excellence, Pricing, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve partner issues and embed scalable activation practices into day-to-day operations.

  • Support pricing analyses for new, renewal, and upsell/cross-sell offerings in partnership channels, leveraging regional partner and market insights to drive competitive advantage.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of PAAT playbooks, SOPs, and workflows, fostering a culture of partnership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Work effectively across cultures and multiple time zones alongside US-based P&A leadership and regional counterparts in NAMER and Europe.

  • Support the Senior Director, PAAT on special projects and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the P&A Strategy & Operations operating model.

Location

The successful candidates will be based in Mexico City, Mexico  and work in a hybrid environment, spending a minimum of 3 days per week in office. Candidates should be comfortable with cross-time-zone collaboration with US-based leadership.
