The Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable permanent Facilities and Logistics Clerk to join our fast-paced, service-oriented company in our Nashville, TN office. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient daily operations of our mailroom. A can-do attitude and a dedication to accuracy and timeliness will be essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Mailroom Management:

  • Oversee all mailroom operations including receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages.
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving of packages, utilizing appropriate tracking systems.

Delivery and Distribution:

  • Coordinate and perform deliveries within the office and to various departments.
  • Maintain a schedule to ensure prompt and efficient delivery services.

Pantry Management:

  • Manage pantry supplies and inventory, ensuring the pantry is well-stocked and organized.
  • Order and replenish pantry items regularly, maintaining relationships with suppliers.

Office Supply Management:

  • Monitor and manage office supply inventory, ensuring that all departments are adequately stocked.
  • Place orders for office supplies as needed and maintain a record of supply usage and expenditures.

Office Services:

  • Provide general office services including setting up meeting rooms, assisting with office moves, and maintaining common areas.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to support various office functions and events.

Physical Labor and Organization:

  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing packages, supplies, and office furniture.
  • Ensure that storage areas are well-organized and items are easily accessible.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injury and maintain a safe working environment.

Office Moves:

  • Coordinate and execute office moves, including packing, transporting, and unpacking office items.
  • Work closely with employees to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to operations.

Event Support:

  • Provide logistical support for company events, including setup, breakdown, and organization.
  • Assist with packing up and organizing materials post-events such as the CMAs, BBQs, and other corporate gatherings.
  • Ensure that all event-related equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
  • Proven experience working in shipping/receiving, stocking, or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience with FedEx, USPS a plus

Location

  • Monday - Friday: 9am-6pm in our Nashville office.

Compensation: The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00-$24.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
