Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring Associate and Experienced Shipside Operations Specialists to support the 737 Team in Renton, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations.

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

  • Provides limited feedback on assessment results.

  • Supports teammates in implementation of strategies and plans.

  • Makes use of and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.

  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

  • Refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance.

  • Reviews products for sound judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

  • Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.

  • Represents the organization on specific projects.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

   

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Able to work a variable shift.

  • Experience working in operations analysis or operations research.

  • Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3+ years Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.

  • 1+ years of experience working in operations analysis or operations research.

  • 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2): 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Experienced (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for Associate: $65,700 - $73,000

Summary pay range for Experienced: $81,900 - $91,000
