As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous interaction with different teams to understand system intricacies and deliver timely solutions that maintain business continuity and enhance system reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to streamline support processes and improve response times.
- Mentor junior team members to develop their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on system updates and issue resolutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in C++ Programming Language.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Experience in analyzing system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of failures.
- Ability to work with multiple software components and understand their interactions within business-critical systems.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle processes and incident management practices.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and document technical findings clearly.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in C++ Programming Language.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
