About the role:
Vice President, Secondary Product Specialist will work to drive the growth of the Dover Street program, HarbourVest’s flagship closed-end private equity secondary solution. Responsibilities include working alongside Investor Relations and Consultant Relations to facilitate re-up activity and new business wins, primary in the Americas. This individual will be responsible for educating and engaging with the global Investor Relations and Client Relations teams and other internal partners; making pitches to clients and prospects; responding to inbound questions about our secondary strategy; developing compelling presentation materials and other content to support fundraising; performing in-depth competitive analyses.

Strong academic and professional credentials. MBA and / or CFA preferred but not required.
Experience:
15+ years of investment or product roles with a client service orientation. Must have a blend of product leadership, investment capabilities and commercial sense. Relevant backgrounds include product specialist for private market offerings, investment banking, equity analyst, consulting or transaction-related experience.
Salary Range
$117,000.00 - $163,000.00This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography. Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
