Jumpstart your career in Manufacturing IT. As a Bit502 Program Associate, you will join our Factory Information Systems (FIS) team for a 2-year rotational experience.

You will complete four 6-month rotations across different roles in our manufacturing facility. In each rotation, you will learn on the job, working directly with the technology that connects our factory floor operations with data driven business decisions. No heavy technical experience is required; we provide the mentorship and training to help you succeed

How You'll Create Possibilities

Rotational Experience

Over 24 months, you will gain hands on experience in four key areas:

  • Factory Floor IT and Hardware: Learn to support the physical hardware, PLC’s, computers, network connections, printers, and scanners that keep our production lines moving.
  • Automation and Systems Control: Get a look under the hood at how machines talk to software, helping to configure and test plant control systems.
  • Business Analysis and Projects: Work with senior analysts to map out project goals, write down system requirements, and document how things work.
  • Problem Solving and Support: Dive into root cause analysis, learn how to troubleshoot system issues and figure out how to make our technology better.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn Every Day: Actively build your knowledge of factory networks, hardware, and specialized manufacturing software under the guidance of experienced mentors.
  • Support the Team: Assist senior IT analysts and site leaders with daily operations and technology tracking.
  • Troubleshoot & Fix: Help investigate technical issues on the production floor and work with the team to find permanent solutions.
  • Collaborate: Partner with internal manufacturing teams and equipment suppliers to test system updates and new features.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Qualifications:

  • Education: Current enrollment in the JCTC Bit502 program.
  • Experience: Little to no previous technical experience is required, We train you in everything you need to know.
  • Mindset: A high energy self-starter who loves to learn, asks questions, and adapts well to change.
  • Problem Solver: Curious about how things work and eager to figure out why a system might not be working correctly.
  • Team Player and Communicator: Able to work well with diverse teams and explain technical ideas in simple terms.

Nice to have:

  • Any basic familiarity with PCs, home routing/networking, or basic software coding.
  • Prior experience working in a team environment (retail, customer service, school projects, etc.).
  • An interest in how things are made and how technology powers modern manufacturing.
