General, ortho, ophthalmology, urology, podiatry, cath lab, IR, and endo

Shifts

• 8, 10 and 12 hour schedules are available
• Additional compensation for backup call coverage with low likelihood of being called in.

Team Highlights

Five anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs are on our anesthesia team; they provide coverage of six to nine operating rooms daily. CRNAs are encouraged to practice autonomously.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
