The Team Lead for Broker and Direct is a sales function responsible in bringing sales through corporate clients in bancassurance channel. The Team Lead will manage the Corporate Solutions Team of Broker and Direct, and will be activating all brokers and grow the sales portfolio of the direct channel.

The Team Lead shall implement and execute business strategies that would lead to activation, engagement, lead generation and sales conversion. The Team Lead is also expected to provide inputs and recommendations to Corporate Solutions Head  on strategies in closing employee benefits to corporate clients and in generating additional sales from lead generation activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Effectively execute strategies and action plans on handling corporate accounts and lead generation activities.
  • Meet the set targets in terms of APE, number of activated branches and number of closed cases.
  • Train and manage brokers to sell to employee benefits to corporate clients. This will include Group Insurance and  Group Credit Life
  • Build and execute process to ensure that Service Level Agreements for the delivery of corporate account and lead generation requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain a professional and ethical sales force in line with regulatory, industry and company standards.
  • Sub-sector operations
    • Reinforce various company communications and initiatives of Corporate Solutions through business reviews, roadshows, and sales  campaigns
    • Develop, implement, promote and monitor programs and campaigns of Corporate Solutions.
    • Supports the broker channel in conducting corporate training programs, client presentations and business reviews.
    • Ensure efficient delivery of services related to proposal generation, presentation and closing requirements and lead generation sales conversion.

Required Qualifications:

  • With very strong sales background, preferably in the insurance / HMO industry.
  • With three years or more relevant experience in sales, business development, training and agency management preferably in a life / HMO insurance setting
  • Has held key positions relevant to the requirement of the job
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies/ Administration / Economics / Management
  • Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power point)
