What you will do

In this 100% office-based role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Logistics and Trade Compliance function, ensuring the efficient execution of import/export activities, maintenance of compliance records, coordination of logistics documentation, and support of regulatory requirements. The role contributes to the smooth movement of goods while helping to ensure adherence to international trade regulations and company policies.

How you will do it

Logistics Support

  • Support daily logistics operations, including shipment tracking and delivery monitoring.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain shipment records and logistics databases.
  • Monitor shipment milestones and escalate potential delays or service issues.
  • Generate logistics reports and KPIs as required.

Trade Compliance Support

  • Maintain import and export compliance records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with export control screening and restricted party screening activities.
  • Support country of origin data management and documentation.
  • Prepare documentation required for customs clearance and regulatory audits.
  • Assist with the maintenance of trade compliance procedures and work instructions.
  • Support internal compliance reviews and data gathering for audits.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and compliance metrics for management review.
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation and logistics cost tracking.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process documentation.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required by the Logistics & Trade Compliance team.

What we look for

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, logistics, customer service, or supply chain support role.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

Desirable

  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, SAGE, etc.).
  • Knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs processes.
  • Understanding of import/export regulations and trade compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
