About us:

Linklaters is a global law firm, providing legal services in 20 countries and through 30 offices.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

About the role:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Communications Coordinator to join our People Communications team in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in internal communications within a leading global law firm.

You will play an important part in supporting people-focused campaigns and initiatives that champion wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, our values, and cultural change across the firm. Working as the most junior member of a collaborative team, you will develop your skills in messaging, content management, logistics, and campaign coordination.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for people communications campaigns, including scheduling, managing documents, booking meetings, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with drafting, editing, and proofreading communications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with firm standards.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of virtual events, forums, and engagement activities linked to people topics.
  • Monitor communications channels and feedback mechanisms, compiling simple reports to assess impact and suggest improvements.
  • Liaise with colleagues across regions and functions to support campaign rollouts and promote consistent messaging.
  • Carry out ad hoc research, benchmarking and administrative tasks to support the wider team’s work and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute positively to team culture by bringing ideas, energy, and a collaborative approach.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Some experience in a communications support role (beneficial but not essential).
  • A genuine interest in internal communications, people engagement, and creating inclusive messages.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines, for example through work, study, or voluntary roles.
  • Comfort working with technology platforms and digital resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to accuracy and clarity.
  • A highly organised, proactive, and reliable approach to work.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback on board, and develop new skills.
  • A respectful and inclusive approach to teamworking and communications.
  • Comfort handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Confidence using basic digital tools (for example, MS Office, intranets, basic analytics).
  • A solutions-focused mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
