CMC are hiring! We have a permanent opportunity for a newly created Growth Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team, based in our Barangaroo, Sydney office. Please note that we operate onsite working and would require you to come into our Barangaroo office 5 days per week.
Please note that this role is only open to Sydney based candidates with full, permanent working rights (Citizen/Permanent Resident).

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Growth Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition and retention through innovative marketing strategies and initiatives for both our CFD and share trading offerings. Reporting directly to the Head of Growth, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our acquisition and activation of new clients as well as optimise customer experience and the customer lifecycle, to ultimately increase revenue and turnover for the business. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience and identifying revenue opportunities within the customer lifecycle to optimise value.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Developing and executing growth marketing strategies collaboratively with digital and lifecycle teams to acquire and retain customers, and optimising activity towards meeting targets.
In collaboration with Product Marketing, conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer support, and finance, to ensure alignment and maximise overall business impact.
Utilise data-driven insights to optimise customer journeys, conversion funnels, and user experiences, leveraging analysis tools such as mParticle/Indicative, Thoughtspot and Power BI.
Lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives and mindset within the team to continuously improve marketing performance and ROI.
Create personalised 1:1 customer journeys to engage and retain clients.
Collaborate with specialist teams to develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns, leveraging content, analysis, video, lifecycle, promotions, digital strategies, and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) to drive turnover.
Work closely with creative & product marketing teams to develop compelling messaging, visuals, and materials that resonate with target audiences and core messages.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to acquisition, retention, and customer lifetime value, regular reporting on progress, and identifying areas for improvement.
Stay across industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and maintain competitive advantage.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing team and across the organisation.
General
Manage a team of lifecycle marketing and content specialists, supporting them in workload management and their professional growth and development.
Adhere to data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders in the ANZ region and UK Head Office.
Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
Read and comply with CMC policies and procedures as they relate to your employment.
Complete all mandatory compliance training.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in growth & lifecycle marketing, or related roles, preferably within the financial services or technology sector.
Strong eCRM experience, with the ability to work with complex customer data structures.
Experience using Marketing Automation tools such as Braze, Marketo, Adobe Audience Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Proven track record of driving customer acquisition and retention through strategic marketing and experimentation initiatives.
Deep understanding of digital marketing principles and analysis tools, and techniques
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and visualisation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
