The Long-Term Service Agreements are a cornerstone of the Baker Hughes strategy to provide a mutually beneficial superior Customer service ensuring stable and profitable business growth. The Customer Application Engineer is a key role in the Commercial Service organization being responsible for defining, preparing, and managing the technical portion of the LTSAs proposals.
Key responsibilities include:
Analyze technical specifications from Customers, defining and preparing the service Scope of Work, ensuring accurate cost control, and managing technical risks.
Estimate OPEX costs for existing and new technologies, collaborate with commercial and sales teams to optimize proposals, and support negotiations with customers on technical aspects.
Work closely with the regional commercial team as a key partner in the strategy development to create the most competitive and winning proposal.
Fuel your passion
To be successfull in this role you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in technical field from an accredited college or university
0-4 years of industry experience in a role as Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Application Engineer or Project Manager
Fluent spoken and written English
Traveling with short notice
Desired:
Master’s degree in engineering with focus on turbo-machinery from an accredited college or university
Specific O&G market knowledge and experience is strongly recommended
Good knowledge of rotating machineries, particularly of Gas Turbines
Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize and manage time
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to work in a team
Able to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors
Able to work autonomously, takes lead in developing complex solutions, under pressure and with tight deadlines
GB/BB certified
