Technical Program Manager III

Are you an outstanding Technical Program Manager who is looking to join a team at the heart of creating Traveler Experiences? Then come join our team!

Our team interacts with many groups to deliver large, sophisticated initiatives. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a meaningful role leading and supporting the efforts across Intelligent Applications and broader EG. This role inherently works across various functions - you will collaborate across multiple teams/locations to resolve problems, learn fast and drive outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Ownership through every stage of the agile software development lifecycle ad lead and mentor others through agile ceremonies

  • Develop project schedules, define timeframes, and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives within the agreed timeframes and ensure that requirements are completed.

  • Keep relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule.

  • Lead proactive risk management, working with the team to anticipate new risks and mitigation planning.

  • Lead increasingly complex technical projects with some supervised work on ambiguous adaptive programs.

  • Coordinate bringing together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to develop solutions to issues and contributes your own suggestions. 

  • Assist with a whole systems approach to analyzing issues by ensuring all components (structure, people, process and technology) are identified and accounted for.

  • Identify opportunities to re-use patterns and apply them to systems to add value or simplify.

  • Think holistically to identify opportunities around policies/processes to increase efficiency across organizational boundaries.

  • Foster a team environment where members are comfortable critiquing and suggesting changes to improve processes.

  • Be involved in different stages of the product development lifecycle from idea generation to bringing a product to market by supporting the different phases and improving product performance.

  • Demonstrate the ability to confidently deliver on parts of the product development lifecycle. 

  • Support and facilitate conversations regarding product development lifecycle with other teams.

  • Guide the organization through program delivery and outcomes.

  • Communicate technical and business concepts confidently to mid-level management.

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of industry experience in a professional technology organization, preferably e-commerce.

  • 4+ years of Program/Project Management in a high-tech company

  • A high level of initiative, passion, and desire to create a world-class experience for customers

  • Demonstrated experience driving agile software development with engineering, and functional teams

  • Demonstrate understanding of functional and technical information (e.g. user flows, technical system design, and workflows).

  • Able to clearly articulate decision-making rationale, solutions, methodologies, and frameworks

  • Detail oriented, yet able to see a wide array of choices & identify what truly matters, problem solving skills is a requirement

  • BS in Computer Science or related engineering fields

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
