The Demand Planner will participate in monitoring of semi-complex materials through the production cycle. This role will also be involved in the preparation and maintenance of basic reports; analyzes supplier capability; participates in make/buy studies and cost analysis. The Demand Planner will create integrated project plans and schedules for the supply team's capital and development projects. Supports the planning and coordination of new product introductions; assess the impact and support changes to overall production schedules. Manage scheduling based on customer demand, service levels, and inventory plan, while optimizing capacity. Perform responsible planning functions with limited supervision within a framework of standard policies and procedures requiring initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail, organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks. Interface cross functionally with Sales, Operations, Logistics and our Customers.
