Heavy Commercial Physical Damage Manager – Countrywide
Salary: $56.08 - $83.37 per hour/$113,000 - 168,000 annually, commensurate to experience and location
The Commercial Insurance Industry in the United States is a $300 billion dollar market designed to protect business owners which continues to grow. GEICO Commercial Insurance line is growing and looking for associates to grow with us.
We are looking for a Commercial Physical Damage Manager with heavy commercial experience who are highly motivated and detail oriented. This position requires previous Commercial Physical Damage management experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of supervisors and claim professionals in a dynamic environment across multiple states. As a Commercial Physical Damage Manager you will promote a culture to drive operational results, customer service, and associate engagement This position primarily will include servicing heavy commercial, semi-trucks, cargo, and other specialty claims.
Experience and Skills:
-Prior experience handling commercial property damage claims including heavy commercial, semi-trucks, commercial equipment, and cargo
-Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
-2 years minimum as a Commercial Physical Damage Manager
-Ability to exercise judgment with minimal supervision in the settlement of claims
-Ability to inspire and motivate associates towards personal and professional development
-The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to promote a positive work environment and culture
-The candidate must be able to work virtually and in the field. Travel to the field is required
-Must be able to document files in a clear, concise, professional manner for both written and verbal communication. The candidate will be communicating across different level of leadership.
-Must be eligible to maintain the required licenses based on state requirements
-Must be able to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast paced environment
-Ability to learn and apply large amount of technical and procedural information
-Strong attention to detail
Annual Salary
$102,000.00 - $158,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
