ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, US Consumer Respiratory Vaccines Franchise is a role that is responsible for supporting & managing the marketing for & development of Pfizer’s first unbranded vaccination scheduling & eligibility tool, VaxAssist, and the respiratory vaccines franchise strategy and execution.
The role will require an understanding of omnichannel strategic & creative development, with an emphasis on digital, as well as ongoing real-time data analysis & optimizations, and a strong ability to partner closely with cross-functional team members & agency partners. Additionally, this role includes ownership of our high priority educational marketing platform and pull-through of related campaign tactics across critical consumer channels (e.g. digital, social, POC, retail), as well as web and search. The candidate will join a team that operates in an environment that embraces and encourages innovative ideas and creates a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
Role includes a keen understanding of:
Strategic thinking across the respiratory franchise
Multichannel creative development, including best practices, from concept through launch
Media plan development, implementation & optimizations
Website development
Market research processes and best practices
Data analysis & associated implications for the business
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the CMO Office Product Team, Pfizer Digital, Retail Team, RC Team, analytics teams & agency partners to develop & optimize the VaxAssist tool prior to & throughout the vaccination season
Support the strategy, development, and launch of our educational/respiratory consumer platform, as well as the pull-through of that campaign into 360-degree deliverables; support the measurement and ongoing optimization across touchpoints to educate and drive uptake of respiratory vaccinations
Drive the development of VaxAssist/respiratory franchise consumer strategies, campaigns, messaging and marketing plans to drive vaccination rates across the portfolio
Manage and monitor the competitive landscape, providing recommendations, assessments, and action plans
Lead the management and continuous improvement of Franchise web and search strategies, ensuring updates and enhancements are based on consumer insights and user data to drive continued growth
Embed foundational analytics capabilities (e.g. dashboards, tracking/reporting metrics and KPIs) via collaboration with VaxAssist cross-functional retail, data science, media & web analytics team and rapidly adjust creative & media plans based on new insights
Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, with a strong adherence to Pfizer Core Values, including compliance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BS/BA degree required with 7+ years in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or diagnostic industry, including proven Marketing ability to successfully deliver in fast paced and highly competitive environments
Success in maintaining productive/collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners
Experience across consumer touchpoints and channels, digital/social/website development experience required, as well as more traditional communication channels
Be an active contributor to create and operate in an environment that continuously encourages the implementation of innovative ideas and fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork across functional teams
Agile mindset - Ability to move fast in response to what is happening in the external marketplace & finding ways to deliver in the face of accelerated deadlines
Ability to understand Consumer needs and translate these into meaningful strategies, tactics & website updates
Excellent project management and coordination skills across a complex organizational matrix of cross-functional teams, and success in maintaining productive/collaborative relationships with those internal and external business partners
Strong communication and presentation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Pharmaceutical advertising/consumer marketing preferred
Experience running/supporting Consumer marketing initiatives preferred (project management, proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, strong team culture and collaboration)
Analytical mindset, including a demonstrated bias for data-driven decision-making and data-centric evaluation of success
Prior vaccines, retail, and/or HCP marketing experience helpful, but not required
Comfort with ambiguity, and complex “white space” environments
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
