Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City – Plaza Location is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our High Acuity Cardiac Step Down Unit. You will have the opportunity to coordinate care for a group of patient with the Multidisciplinary Team and serve as a clinical resource for new employees. This position demonstrates positive formal and informal leadership within the unit to ensure our vision of being “The Best Place to Get Care. The Best Place to Give Care.”

Shift Details: 6:45 pm to 7:15 am

The Work:

  • Utilizes the nursing process 
  • Identifies hospital resources
  • Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff 
  • Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes 
  • Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
