We at Coforge are hiring Mid-Level Java Engineer with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Implement features and bug fixes based on requirements provided by senior engineers and tech leads.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Use AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted debugging) to improve coding efficiency and quality.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews and collaborate with team members to improve codebases.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Solid experience in Java (Java 17+ preferred).
• Experience of Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and basic exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity containers such as Docker and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, RDS).
• Familiarity with GenAI practices, including prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
