Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is responsible to support the Private Brand team with data and perform analysis to support the operations of marketing, sales, merchandising and planning information. Provide support to various departments in organizing data and improving processes to support department decision making. 

Here's what you’ll do: 

  • Responsible to collect, compile, organize and distribute corporate data and reports per established basis. Assist in the development of business reports to support the organization. 

  • Work with department managers and various business areas to review and analyze various reports to identify trends, issues and root causes; identify areas for improvement to recommend future actions based on historical results, grocery business macro trends and competitor activities. 

  • Utilize data query tools to organize and maintain data, analyze data, and to automate and implement reporting tools and resources in a more efficient and timely manner. Initiate process improvements to streamline, simplify and automate reporting and analysis methods. 

  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with various departments throughout the organization and external vendors. 

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. 

Here’s what you’ll need: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 

  • One (1) year accounting or finance experience required; experience in the grocery or consumer packaged goods industry and experience with syndicated data preferred. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels in the company and external vendors.  

  • Strong analytical, reporting and attention to detail skills.  

  • Good organization and prioritization skills. 

  • Experience with query tools (i.e. Nielsen Nitro, Studio / BRIO query and Micro strategy / EIS or equivalent) helpful.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
