WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this vital role, you will maintain and evolve the internal data backbone that powers performance dashboards and reporting tools for commercial teams. You will manage and coordinate with offshore teams to ensure operational stability while driving innovation across the analytics ecosystem.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Lead the development and improvement of BI tools that enable marketers to track and optimize performance across digital and media channels.
• Own data table optimization to deliver robust, scalable analytics for downstream users.
• Partner with BI analysts, developers, and engineers across regions (US, Portugal, India) to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Oversee integration and management of complex data ecosystems (brand, web traffic, media performance) to ensure seamless flow and usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using ad servers, tag managers, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Drive enterprise-wide data quality, standardization, and evolution of key metrics and report frameworks.
• Evaluate and champione AI-powered analytics tools and embedded AI features to enhance automation, insights, and interactivity.
• Proactively identify gaps, set priorities, and lead initiatives that strengthen and future-proof the analytics infrastructure.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

Minimum requirements:

• +5 years of experience in BI development, data analytics, or a similar technical role.
• University Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
• Strong SQL, Python and experience with data preparation and transformation
• Experience working with API integration and ETL processes
• Direct experience with media/marketing data, digital marketing tools, and marketing analytics infrastructure.
• Previous mentoring or people leadership experience.
• Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication.

Preferred requirements:

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools (e.g., AutoML platforms, Python-based AI libraries, or embedded AI in BI tools.)
• Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau (Power BI, Looker, or similar tools also considered).
