Job Description Summary:

Responsible for assisting with Retail activities to ensure an efficient operation and excellent customer service. Provides customer assistance, totals sales using Brightree/POS software, merchandising and pricing, restocking, and cleaning for normal operation of a retail shop. Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assists all customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assists customers with the selection of merchandise.
• Operates computer to total sales.
• Opens and closes shop as needed.
• Assists with cleaning and restocking of merchandise. Assists with unpacking and pricing of merchandise.
• Assists with annual inventory count.
• Assists with merchandising of items. Assist with mastectomy fittings as needed.
• Assists with making appointments for mastectomy fittings.
• Assist with answering phone. Assists with all paperwork and insurance verification as needed.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• Ability to read, write, utilize correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, follow written procedures and perform basic mathematical calculations as normally acquired through high school diploma or equivalent.

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION:

• N/A

EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to perform retail functions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Expert knowledge of telephone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to deal with multiple personalities and beliefs.
• Ability to accurately receive payments, make change, operate computer, copier, etc.
