At Collection Excellence, we’re building reliable, high-quality solutions that power the Commbank Yello Rewards platform, which is going to transform the way customers earn and burn their rewards points. You will support critical business operations, along with BAU support of the existing platform while developing the new one. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be at the heart of our technical evolution, working across the full SDLC lifecycle.
You’ll collaborate with a passionate crew to design, build, and maintain scalable systems using robust backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring platform stability through ongoing BAU support.

Tech Skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:
Backend: .net core, C#, API development, Kafka
Database: Aurora, Oracle, SQL Server, no sql db
Cloud: AWS.
DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Team City
Observability: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools as Obstack, PagerDuty
Architecture: Microservices and API design patterns.
Knowledge of OAuth based authentication (nice to have)
Integration with external Partner systems (nice to have)
Understanding of DevSecOps environments, landscape, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
