Job Description
Human Resources Services (HRS) is an internal function providing global operations and business support across Brookfield’s lines of business.
The Equity Compensation Analyst will support the administration of the equity compensation plans and other compensation initiatives including conducting market research, analyzing compensation data, and developing reporting and dashboards.
Responsibilities:
Monitor equity transactions and prepare standard and ad hoc monthly, weekly and quarterly reporting.
Monitor the equity inbox, preparing responses and investigating participant issues for resolution.
Support compensation benchmarking exercises and participate in compensation surveys.
Contribute to the development and administration of compensation programs, including but not limited to job architecture, gender pay gap and pay equity analyses, and compensation structures.
Utilize Excel, Power BI and other AI tools to develop dashboards and data visualizations leading to process and reporting improvements and to develop insights from compensation information and activities.
Contribute to day-to-day relationship with vendors ensuring a best-in-class experience for employees.
Prepare quarterly and annual participant communications.
Support the administration and maintenance of compensation management systems and the management of the annual year-end compensation process.
Conduct the audit and data verification for all equity compensation plans to ensure accuracy at both the employee and plan levels.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Relevant professional or internship experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
Strong data analysis skills, including use of Excel functions (e.g., XLOOKUP, IF statements), pivot tables, and data visualization
High level of discretion, integrity, and understanding of confidentiality
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and seniority levels
Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn with a willingness to take on new challenges
Comfortable working in a professional, in-office environment
Strong critical thinking, analytical ability, and time management skills
Effective at tracking and communicating project progress with strong organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
