Position Summary

Responsible for driving the successful execution of CVS Health’s most critical and complex business and IT initiatives and programs, utilizing Agile practices. Via close partnership with CVS Health executives and senior leaders, will be responsible for scoping major strategic initiatives, and then guiding their end-to-end execution to ensure business-driven results and transformative outcomes.

 

  • Oversee programs of significant magnitude regarding complexity, cost, time-constraints, internal and external staffing; allocate appropriate resources to meet timely completion of specific initiative tasks
  • Direct product teams handling all aspects of solution delivery, Agile methodologies
  • Oversee Agile processes and promote the use of Agile best practices and methodology
  • Lead multiple product team leaders on complex initiatives
  • Ensure delivery of initiatives are on time, on budget and fall within organizational performance targets
  • Ensure that program management approaches are consistent, measurable, and aligned with corporate standards, Scrum and Agile best practices
  • Manage change and promote continuous improvement of change management processes
  • Lead manager over several large and strategically significant initiatives within the business and IT, using Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Identify improvement opportunities to optimize execution speed and effectiveness
  • Track and communicate overall team progress
  • Ensure initiative scope, schedule, budget, quality and associated metrics are available, accurate, and meet corporate standards and guidelines\Vet business case development and realization of benefits analysis
  • Manage product teams, performing HR responsibilities such as hiring and performance management
  • Lead team in identifying opportunities to optimize execution speed and effectiveness


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years overall technology delivery management experience
  • 8 years leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing portfolios which span multiple years
  • Detailed understanding of Business Portfolio budgets including both Business and IT CapEx and OpEx
  • Experience leading teams comprised of Business focused Scrum Masters, Program Managers and Project Managers
  • Detailed understanding of Portfolio Financials and Financial Models (Costs and Savings)
  • Strong communicator both verbal and written with the ability to influence across all functions and at all levels of the organization

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$144,200.00 - $288,400.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
